What Faith?
31/10/11 19:01
Faith is putting yourself completely under Abba's care and trusting in Him for all things…ALL THINGS! When was the last time you asked Him to do His will for you in your life and really, truly meant it? We ask Father to lead us and then we go out and go our own way! That is NOT the way it works! That is NOT faith…that is fulfilling our own wants and desires. Ask Him what His will is for you and then have the courage to step out in faith. TRUST in Him…BELIEVE in Him…have FAITH in Him!
Genesis 12:4-5
4 So Aḇram left, as יהוה had commanded him, and Lot went with him. And Aḇram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Ḥaran. 5 And Aḇram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the beings whom they had acquired in Ḥaran, and they set out for the land of Kena῾an. And they came to the land of Kena῾an.

Right?
28/10/11 22:39
If we cannot entertain the thought that we might possibly be wrong, how can we be so convinced that we are right?
Proverbs 15:5
5 A fool despises his father’s discipline, But he who heeds reproof is clever.
Proverbs 15:10
10 Discipline is grievous to him who forsakes the way; He who hates reproof dies.
Proverbs 15:5

Proverbs 15:10

Division
26/10/11 23:02
I find it so sad, that there are still those who choose to feed the wicked spirit of division and rebellion. There are very specific reasons to separate and scripture lays those reasons out for us very clearly. We are NOT to tolerate sin and lawlessness in our midst, but we do NOT cut off those who are still learning and growing! There is one very important REASON to separate and that is to remove those who cause division.
Titus 3:10-11
10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second warning, 11 knowing that such a one has been perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.
We all have room to grow and none of us has everything right. How is the body every going to begin moving in the right direction if we cut off the hand that is extended to us in love? We ALL came from a place of error and it takes a while for those errors to be removed. This absolute intolerance of anyone who is not in the same place that we are in our walk has go to STOP! There is a huge difference between those who are willfully living a lawless life and those who are still learning and growing. Are we not given discernment to be able to know the difference? If we cannot discern, what does that say about our own walk and where we are in our relationship with Abba?
Do any of us have spotless garments? Yet, those who sit in judgment and point their fingers at others, seem unable to see the stains on their own garments! There has to be division so that those who TRULY belong to YHVH will become apparent, but we are not to incite and stir up rebellion and division! Abba does cause a separation whenever it becomes necessary, but not through those who work deceitfully to tear down and destroy what Father is putting in place.
1 Corinthians 11:18-19
18 For in the first place, I hear that when you come together as an assembly, there are divisions among you, and to some extent I believe it. 19 For there have to be factions even among you, so that the approved ones might be revealed among you.
WOE to those who sow the seeds of disharmony and discord!!! WOE to those who cause offense and drive away the little ones!!!

The Appointments
25/10/11 06:04
I pray that you all had a blessed Sukkot!
Keeping the Appointed Times of YHVH is a very important part of our walk. Those observances were NOT only for the time prior to Yeshua's appearance! How can you see that Torah is still in effect, but ignore what Abba plainly states is to be observed and kept forever? These are appointments and times that He sets apart to meet with us! There are important lessons and things that we are to see from observing these days! Everyone WILL stop and observe the Appointed Times, when Yeshua reigns during the millennium!!
The Appointed Times show us the Plan of YHVH! They keep us constantly in remembrance and looking and thinking about those events. They ARE spiritual! Just like the Torah, we MUST learn to take them from the physical, into the spiritual and look at them from that perspective. These appointments were put into place from the very beginning…from before Elohim even separated the darkness (chosek) with the light (owr), the Appointed Times were fixed in place! We cannot change or alter what Abba has put into place. We cannot change or alter the appointments that He tells us to keep. How do we redefine forever, to not be forever?
If we do not MAKE Him our priority and OBEYING Him our focus…where does that leave us? What are we doing? When YHVH tells us to do something, it is for a reason. We do not always see that reason, or understand at first, but that does not give us license to ignore what He has said, or put into place. The Appointed Times were put into place for ALL of Israel, not just the tribe of Judah! If you are not keeping the appointments…then you are sadly missing out on some of the most important knowledge and blessings that Father imparts to His people. Those that are TRULY His, will be keeping their appointments with Abba.
For the future:
Zechariah 14:16-19
16 And it shall be that all who are left from all the gentiles which came up against Yerushalayim, shall go up from year to year to bow themselves to the Sovereign, יהוה of hosts, and to observe the Festival of Booths. 17 And it shall be, that if anyone of the clans of the earth does not come up to Yerushalayim to bow himself to the Sovereign, יהוה of hosts, on them there is to be no rain. 18 And if the clan of Mitsrayim does not come up and enter in, then there is no rain. On them is the plague with which יהוה plagues the gentiles who do not come up to observe the Festival of Booths. 19 This is the punishment of Mitsrayim and the punishment of all the gentiles that do not come up to observe the Festival of Booths.

On Yom Kippur
11/10/11 14:23
At the end of the time that we afflict ourselves, we again allow ourselves the absolute luxury of a sip of water. As that wonderfully wet and cool liquid passes through our mouth and down our throats, it brings a welcome refreshment and renewal. The physical water brings relief and restoration, but it is the living waters that we long and yearn for…it is only the living waters that can truly quench our thirst.
As we allow ourselves to once again partake of food, the taste is exquisite after having gone without. Our senses are heightened and the tastes literally explode in our mouths and across our tongues. Our bodies hungrily accept and are gratified by the food that we now take in gratefully, but it is the bread of life that we really long and yearn for…it is only the bread of life that can truly bring us sustenance that lasts.
It is with a new appreciation and gratefulness that we move forward. Thank you Abba for showing us how reliant we are upon your blessings and all that you provide. Thank you Abba for your beautiful and amazing Appointed Times that continue to teach us and help us to draw closer to you.
John 7:37
37 And on the last day, the great day of the festival, Yeshua stood and cried out, saying, "if anyone thirsts, let him come to Me, and let him who believes in me drink.
John 6:51
51 "I am the living bread which came down out of the heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever. And indeed, the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

The Plan
09/10/11 21:25
The Appointed Times actually lay out YHVH's Plan for mankind and reveal to us how events will happen. You MUST understand what each day represents to understand His Plan. There is a very real purpose and reason that each of us are here and it is up to us to find Him and understand what our purpose is. The Appointed Times are key to understanding what YHVH is doing.
Each annual cycle, as we observe the days that YHVH has appointed and set aside, we learn and practice what is going to take place. We learn where we fit into the plan that He put into place from the very beginning. Everything has been carefully laid out from the start and it WILL come to pass, just as He has revealed it to us.
Isaiah 28:21
21 For יהוה rises up as at Mount Peratsim, and He is wroth as at the Valley of Giḇ῾on, to do His work, His strange work, and to do His deed, His strange deed.
