Your Crown

Every single day, people give up their crowns…will you be one of them? Will something come along to offend you, or cause you to quit pursuing the Kingdom? There IS a crown waiting for those who stay the course all the way to the end. Are you willing to trade that crown? Many are…every day more crowns are made available…do NOT let it be yours!

A Short Time...

I have been reminded again this week how very short our time is here on this earth. We waste so much of the precious time that we are given in endless pursuits that gain us nothing and empty debates that do not edify, or solve anything. The time any of us have here may be shorter than we even realize.
We allow ourselves to become distracted and lured away from our purpose and goal. We must remain focused with our purpose always before us! Our lives can change in seconds...
We have an opportunity that we need to take hold of! We can come to know YHVH and Yeshua HaMashiach in a real and personal way. We have to be preparing for our eternal future…everything here is going to pass away, it is going to be removed, it is all temporary…including us. There is NO time to waste, the clock is ticking...

Guarding

Take what you are given and guard it diligently! The pure Word and Truth of YHVH and the understanding of what it all means, is THE MOST valuable posession you can ever have in this life!
If you do not take care and watch over it...it will be gone. Father will not leave such precious treasure in an unclean vessel...

Rebellion

Why do we as human beings cringe at the word obedience? Why do we not like the word submission? Why do we choke on the word humility? At the most basic level, man is rebellious. There is no denying it and if we say that we are not, then we are being disingenuous and deceiving ourselves.
Before we come into a relationship with Father, we are in complete rebellion. In order to come into a harmonious relationship with Him it takes those three words that we do not like...obedience, submission and humility.
We have to admit to ourselves that we are not capable of managing our own lives. Ouch! There is another thing that we do not want to admit do we? Our relationship with YHVH and with Yeshua HaMashiach IS THE stabilizing force in our lives!
The first step each of us must take is to admit that we are wrong and that we are living in opposition to the will of Father. It takes being honest with yourself and admitting that you are wrong and that you are going in the wrong direction. It takes swallowing your pride and overcoming your rebellious nature...that is something that some people just cannot do.
Micah 6:8
8 He has declared to you, O man, what is good. And what does יהוה require of you but to do right, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?

It is the age old dichotomy. Man seeks to know what he is and why he is here, which leads man to seek his creator. Knowledgeable and learned men have pondered the same question for a very, very long time. Man always seeks to define what he does not understand. What we forget, is that we define things with our own terms and our own understanding.
Man has a desire to know and to understand, the problem is, what man does not know and understand man applies his own reasoning and logic to. Man cannot define YHVH…He is beyond our definition. People want Him distilled and confined into a ...place where they can deal with Him on their own level…that will never work. His ways are far above our ways. We cannot apply human understanding and human principles of reason to Father.
We cannot view Him, or define Him through our own eyes and human minds. That is where the Ruach (Spirit) comes in…we HAVE to, we MUST, see Him through the Ruach if we are to truly come to know and understand Him on His terms and not our own. Men are the ones who find contradiction and conflict within the Word of YHVH…by their OWN definition of those terms.

The Deception

The adversary's greatest deception, is convincing man that he does not exist and by preying on the fears, doubts and ignorance of men, convincing them that YHVH is responsible for all of the evil in this world.

Perfection

There are no contradictions, inconsistencies, or conflicts in the Word of YHVH…those things ONLY exist in the hearts, minds and claims of men. Everything that Father does is done in perfection, as He IS perfect in all His ways.

You have to realize that you are in a spiritual battle...this is serious stuff! You are dealing with forces that are NOT physical. You cannot do it alone. Do NOT try to do it alone...the evil one wants to prevent you from reaching the Kingdom of Elohim.
Ephesians 6:11
11 Put on the complete armour of Elohim, for you to have power to stand against the schemes of the adversary.
Yeshua conquered, Yeshua overcame...He led the way and showed us what to do. Be prepared!

The Final Authority

It is nice to have references and historical records to refer to and to help us better understand, but what should we ultimately be relying on for our doctrine? The Word of YHVH! Yeshua taught from the scriptures...the living Word taught from the Word!
Luke 4:16-21
16 And He came to Natsareth, where He had been brought up. And according to His practice, He went into the congregation on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17 And the scroll of the prophet Yeshayahu was handed to Him. And... having unrolled the scroll, He found the place where it was written: 18 “The Spirit of יהוה is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away crushed ones with a release, 19 to proclaim the acceptable year of יהוה.” 20 And having rolled up the scroll, He gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the congregation were fixed upon Him. 21 And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been filled in your hearing.”

With all of the things going on in the world, that declare the seriousness of the times that we are in, people still want to squander and waste precious time promoting and defending doctrine that is false and unimportant! It is nothing new...this same situation has been happening for a very long time. The question is...will you be caught in the trap, or recognize these things for what they really are?
The adversary uses the same tactics to divide and distract and to divert attention from the things that really matter. The fact is, our attention is easily diverted if we are not careful. In our society today, we get our information in soundbites. We have been conditioned to have a short attention span. People have short memories! Do NOT be turned aside from the foundational truths you have received from YHVH! DO NOT BE SHAKEN! Stay rooted, have faith and trust in what YHVH is doing in your life and where you are being led by the Ruach.

17 Now I call upon you, brothers, watch out for those who cause divisions and stumbling, contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. 18 For such ones do not serve our Master יהושע Messiah, but their own stomach, and by smooth words and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the innocent.
Those of you who are TRULY walking in the Spirit...you know what you are supposed to be doing! The call is going out to prepare and make ready...
