Bullies

One of the greatest weapons in our arsenal is…humility. The adversary cannot conquer humility. He likes pride…he feeds pride and arrogance…men ALWAYS fall through pride! Yeshua humbled Himself to the point of death. HaSatan offered Him the world, but Yeshua refused. Yeshua stood strong and He stayed humble before YHVH. He always pointed everything back to YHVH and took credit for nothing.
I do NOT like bullies and there are bullies everywhere in this world…they have NO fear of YHVH. There are people who are always trying to force their will, their ideology and their beliefs and values on others…that is a bully, NOT a teacher! You need to understand the difference!!
Abba does NOT like bullies either! Sometimes He uses them for a time and for a purpose, but He does NOT like those who elevate themselves above others and seek to rule over them. He HATES a proud look! The word hates is not used too often in scripture…it is an intense feeling of disgust and dislike.
There is only ONE ruler…He is coming back SOON to claim what is His! All bullies take notice…your time is SHORT! Do you think you can stand before Him? He WILL bend your knee and you WILL profess His name! What will you be thinking when you are standing before the righteous judge ALONE to answer for what you have done in this life? Will your knees be quivering? Will you even be able to face Him? You will be required to answer for every precious one abused, driven away, or consumed by you. They will all be on YOUR head!
There IS a day of reckoning coming…and it may be MUCH, MUCH SOONER than you think! Those who are humble and seek His face, are the ones who will be exalted. The humble, who only seek to do His will are raised up, while those who elevated themselves will be laid low…VERY low. Think ashes...
Jeremiah 50:31-32
31 “See, I am against you, O proud one!” declares the Master יהוה of hosts, “for your day has come, the time for your punishment. 32 “And the proud one shall stumble, and he shall fall, with no one to raise him up. And I shall kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all around him.”
Like I said, Abba does NOT like bullies...

Encouragement

How come we do not hear more encouraging, more edifying and more building up of the body of Messiah? That is a responsibility, that each member of the body has to the other members. That is a responsibility that those who shepherd and those who teach, have to the body.
The body is supposed to grow up into the head, which is Yeshua. There are far too many who only seek to tear down, to discourage and to judge and destroy…why? There are far too many, who only want to correct and rebuke all of those who do not see things their way. Could it be...that there are some of those who claim to be a part of the body, that are really not? Are there liars and impostors passing themselves off as people of YHVH?
Acts 20:30
30 “Also from among yourselves men shall arise, speaking distorted teachings, to draw away the taught ones after themselves.
The errors and false doctrines that fill our lives, must be removed. That does NOT happen overnight! It takes commitment and a willingness to change. It takes sacrifice and humbling ourselves before Abba. It is NOT that easy! For most of us, humbling ourselves, overcoming ourselves and giving our will over to Abba is one of the hardest things we have ever faced in our lives. We all need encouragement and help at times in our walk. When we first start to understand and come into knowledge of the truth, it is a lot to take in! It is a shock to find out that we were deceived...that we had trusted in things that were in error and contrary to what the world of YHVH really says.
We need someone to encourage and help us! We need those who have overcome in their lives and understand the difficulties and struggles that we go through. We need those who are able to rightly divide the word and patiently help us to understand. We need those who do not disown us, because we are not perfect yet. We need those who do not compromise YHVH's word, but who share the truth genuinely and with love. We need those who will ALWAYS point us back to Abba. We do NOT need those who want us to have their opinions and their interpretations crammed down our throats and forcibly injected into our minds. We do NOT need someone to beat us into their image...Abba lovingly molds us into the form and shape, that He wants us to be...
Where are those who will encourage? Where are those who will show compassion, empathy and love? Where are those who will pick up those who are struggling? Where are those who will hold out their hand to their Brothers and Sisters? Where are the people of YHVH?
Hebrews 10:23-25
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our expectation without yielding, for He who promised is trustworthy. 24 And let us be concerned for one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging, and so much more as you see the Day coming near.
We are supposed to encourage one another! We are supposed to stir up love and good works! As the world around us gets more and more evil, we are supposed to ratchet up our encouragement and lift up one another! We have an awesome future waiting for us! Are you excited about that? Stir up someone! Are you doing your share? Encourage one another, because the day IS coming near.
Seek the truth...

Be Discerning!

Who is to blame? Who is responsible? Who will you point to? If you take the broad path and listen to those who prophesy smooth things, whose fault is it? When we give account for ourselves, there will be no one there standing beside us…there will be no one else to blame…there will be no excuses and no one else to point fingers at…no one except ourselves.
Not one person will be able to claim ignorance. If we follow after those who prophesy smooth things and we are deceived by those who seek to destroy and devour…we ARE responsible. Free choice works both ways…we can follow YHVH, or we can follow those who do NOT belong to YHVH, but claim to be His. Abba gives us discernment and the gift of His Ruach for a reason! LEARN to USE it!
When we are told to separate ourselves, we NEED to understand what that REALLY means! Once someone has shown themselves to bear bad fruit what else do we need to know? When we have become aware that someone is devouring the sheep, why do we stand around and watch in morbid curiosity? Do you want to be next? How much more do we need to see? If you continue to allow people like that to be around you…you are leaving a door open for the adversary!
Jude 1:10-11
10 But these blaspheme that which they do not know. And that which they know naturally, like unreasoning beasts, in these they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! Because they have gone in the way of Qayin, and gave themselves to the delusion of Bil῾am for a reward, and perished in the rebellion of Qoraḥ.
Read and understand! This is VERY serious! Are we not warned about being lukewarm? Part of being lukewarm is being indecisive…it is mixing that which is profane, with that which is pure...how much do we need to see before we can make a decision? If we continue to ignore what the Ruach is showing us, that discernment will go away…we will fall under the delusion.
Jude 1:12-14
12 These are rocky reefs in your love feasts, feasting with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds borne about by the winds, late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots, 13 wild waves of the sea foaming up their own shame, straying stars for whom blackness of darkness is kept forever.
They are among us without fear! They are feeding THEMSELVES without FEAR! Why? Because we are not discerning those who intend to do harm and wreak havoc within the body! If we do not learn and understand this now, we will NOT be ready for the return of Yeshua…we will NOT be fruit fit for harvest. Those who are unwary WILL become prey!
Jude 1:14-16
14 And Ḥanoḵ, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied of these, saying, “See, יהוה comes with His myriads of set-apart ones, 15 to execute judgment on all, to punish all who are wicked among them concerning all their wicked works which they have committed in a wicked way, and concerning all the harsh words which wicked sinners have spoken against Him.” 16 These are grumblers, complainers, who walk according to their own lusts, and their mouth speaks proudly, admiring faces of others for the sake of gain.
Admiring faces of others…flattering, deceiving, lying, convincing, persuading. Oh little flock…be wise! Be discerning!

Emptying Ourselves

In order to become the people that YHVH wants us to be, His set-apart people, we have to completely empty ourselves. We have to learn and understand Abba's way, through Him. I see people struggle with so many things and I did too. I spent sleepless nights in turmoil, because of things that had been deeply ingrained in me. We do not realize it, but those things that we learned in error, became part of what anchors us in this world. It is a scary feeling to be cast adrift and separated from the things that we had believed to be true. It shakes us to the very core of our being.
Abba has to tear down the false things that we have been filled with, so that He can build us back up with the solid foundation of His truth. We have to become clean and pure vessels again to hold the purity His word and His truth. It is painful and it hurts, but it is very necessary. Some people are resistant and they fear...then want to hold onto the false things that have become a part of their lives. If we REALLY love Abba and WANT to please Him in every way, if we TRULY desire to live by His word, then we should be willing to do ANYTHING that He asks of us. We cannot bring any of the false things along with us; we MUST be rid of them. That is part of counting the cost...
There is a lack of commitment in this world and everyone has been affected by it. Everything has become disposable and rather than work through difficulties, we just throw things away and move on...marriages, relationships, beliefs...nothing is immune. If you are not committed to Abba, then you will fall away...it is only a matter of when. It is Abba's way...or no way at all...

Vigilance

Nobody ever promised that our walk would be without trials and it is a mistake to think that troubles will not come our way. That is how we are tested and tried...that is how we are refined...that is how we are shaped and molded. It is part of the process and part of our transformation. We must learn how to deal with adversity, we must learn to overcome and we must conquer the obstacles that are placed in our path. All who call on the Elohim of Avraham, Yitzhak and Ya'acov will be tested. All who profess and proclaim the name of YHVH will face rejection and persecution.
Do not be surprised when the attacks come without warning and when they become vicious. Do not be surprised when attacks come from those closest to you and from those whom you never expected would turn against you. Even some of those whom we thought were of us, will become our enemies. Deception is VERY real! Delusion is VERY real! When things get hard and the road gets rough, we find out how determined and how focused we really are. We find out how committed we really are. Our thought and our hearts will be where the things that really matter to us the most are.
What will you do when the time comes to take a stand? To draw a line in the sand? NEVER quit! NEVER give up! NEVER surrender! YHVH goes before you...NO one can stand before Him! Press on and keep moving...our goal is just ahead...

A Stranger...

The closer I get to my Abba, the more I find myself wandering around in a foreign and strange world. It is a strange feeling to be in a world where you do not belong. People see you and notice you…they feel and sense there is somethjing different about you…they know you do not belong…that you are not one of "them".
I walk into a room and all eyes are on my tzitziyot. With all of the strange clothing, piercings and tattoos you see on a regular basis, you would think that tzitzits would draw very little attention. The people of this world know there is something different about the people of YHVH. They know we do not fit in. When you live your life according to Abba's word, you will set yourself apart from the world.
We are to be lights and examples of what comes from living by YHVH's word. He WANTS us to be different…He WANTS the world to see that there is something different about us. How can we be examples if we are hiding somewhere? We have nothing to be ashamed of…nothing to hide…we belong to our Abba!
We set ourselves apart because we love Him…we set ourselves apart because He asks us too…we follow Him and obey Him because we love Him. I do NOT want to be like the rest of the world…I want to please my Father and obey Him in every way…I WANT to do His will. If that makes me stand out and if people notice that…Hallelu YAH! May our Abba be glorified before all men! May they come to know and see the Elohim of Avraham, Yitzhak and Ya'acov and love Him as I do!
