I keep getting the message so clear…be set-apart…prepare…watch! Am I predicting impending doom? No…I think we can all read scripture for ourselves and understand that what we are shown will surely come to pass. The urgent and important message for us right now and in this time, is to get ready! We have all been affected by this world and its cultures, and societies more than we realize. We have to examine and search ourselves.
It is time that we understand what it means to be set-apart and act on it! It IS the set-apart ones that Yeshua will be looking for. There is no time for hesitation and indecision! Everything set-apart to YHVH has to meet certain requirements…those who TRULY belong to Him WILL set themselves apart and stand firmly and faithfully waiting on Yeshua.
Being kadosh is NOT a new concept…Abba has ALWAYS required it of His people. The people of YHVH are to be different. The people of YHVH are NOT to act like the rest of the world and those who live without any regard for YHVH and His kadosh word and way of life. Abba does NOT like mixing…you cannot mix what is kadosh with what is profane. The tiniest bit of leaven, leavens all.
Yeshua said to seek the Kingdom FIRST! That is the priority…anything that is in the way of that MUST be REMOVED! Our Abba IS kadosh and we MUST be too! Nothing else is acceptable to Him!
Isaiah 6:1-4
1 In the year that Sovereign Uzziyahu died, I saw יהוה sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the Hĕḵal. 2 Above it stood seraphim. Each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said, “Set-apart, set-apart, set-apart is יהוה of hosts; all the earth is filled with His esteem!” 4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.

Listen!

Why is it that you do not hear the voice of Abba? He speaks very plainly and makes His will known…why do you not hear? Do you try? Have you asked? Do you seek? Do you listen? Oh, there are many who claim to hear Him…there are many who claim to come in His name with revelation and new truth…there are many who pretend to hear from Him. He speaks to His people…those who belong to Him.
How do you expect to hear Abba, when you spend all of your time running here and there, doing the things that you want to do? You do NOT stop to listen! When you do finally take the time to talk to Him, you are surprised when He does not answer you in the five, or ten minutes that you manage to carve out of your schedule to spend on Him. Do you expect Him to answer and listen on your schedule?
If you want to hear from Father, then you better start taking the time to listen! He speaks to those who spend their time knowing Him and doing His will. You MUST have a relationship with Him, if you expect to hear Him. Stop what you are doing and LISTEN! He speaks to those who have ears to hear…
Stop worrying and fretting and running here and there! Abba is ALWAYS there and He is waiting for you to hear Him. Will you listen? Will you take the time? It really is up to you…if you want direction in your life…if you want His will and His desire…Be still! Listen!
Psalms 46:10-11
10 Be still, and know that I am Elohim; I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth! 11 יהוה of hosts is with us; The Elohim of Ya῾aqoḇ is our refuge. Selah.

To Keep Shabbat...

It is difficult to explain the joy and shalom (peace) associated with keeping Shabbat, to those who have never experienced it. Most of those who reject Shabbat, have never experienced it for themselves and they just parrot things that they have heard others say and that they have been taught. There has been an intentional plot to hide and do away with the Shabbat and it has been going on for a very long time. The adversary wants to keep people in ignorance and to hide the truth. The Shabbat sets the people of YHVH apart. It is a mark and a sign on His people, and it is a TREMENDOUS blessing!
Just the observance of Shabbat alone, does not automatically make anyone, one of YHVH's people...but, those who are His will be keeping and observing the day that He put into place from the beginning. It all comes down to our obedience and our wanting to please Abba. We do as He asks because we love Him, we trust Him and we know that He wants what is best for us. When we obey Him and follow His word, we are blessed and we are living in harmony and shalom...the way that He wants for us to! The Creator knows what is best for the creation...ALL of creation including us!
The world, for the most part, ignores Shabbat and goes its own way. The world ignores the seventh day, the day that IS set apart and instead observes the first day. Most people who observe the first day, do not even set apart the entire day and rest as we are told. How many people who reject the Shabbat outright have ever tried to observe it, or spent the Shabbat with someone who does observe it? Shabbat has to be experienced! You have to live Shabbat to understand how wonderful and awesome it is! It is NOT a burden...it is NOT legalism! It is a joy and a blessed time to spend with Abba. It is a time to fellowship, to study, to worship, to spend time with family and to share in the joy of being His people. It is a time to encourage, to build up and to edify one another!
Do NOT dismiss and toss out Shabbat if you have never experienced it! We cannot define the terms of our relationship with Abba. His word CLEARLY lays out the terms of the covenant between Him and His people. The Shabbat is the first big step towards submitting to and obeying Father. Maybe you should give it a try...IF you TRULY want to belong to Him and be one of His people. Everyone in this world stands to benefit by keeping Shabbat...there is nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Exodus 19:5-6
5 ‘And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine – 6 ‘and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.’ Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl.”

I am heading towards the Kingdom...my heart is already there. I have my goal fixed, I'm focused in on the job at hand and I am moving forward. I will not be distracted and I will not be stopped. I listen to the Chief Shepherd and I follow His voice and His voice alone. He calls to me and tells me to follow...He calls me home. Abba goes before me and He fights my battles…He clears the path before me and He prevents my enemies from gaining ground against me. Oh...they think they are smart, but my Abba knows everything and nothing escapes His sight. They will not prevail…
I know what is at stake…I realize the seriousness of the situation and I am going to be found on the right side. Because my Abba has given me discernment, I am not going to be swayed, or convinced by the lies of the adversary. He has nothing that I want, or desire. Everything he has to offer is an illusion...it is temporary and will not last. Oh yes, it looks good to begin with and it is very tempting...he knows how to get our attention and how to attract us and appeal to our flesh...he has been doing that sucessfully to mankind for a very long time. He is deceitful and cunning...full of lies and smooth words that flatter and disarm the unwary!
I look to the promises of my Father! I look to those things that will last forever! I am not going to trade my eternity for some cheap, temporary thing of this physical world that will NOT last! My Abba promises me so much more and His word is TRUE! He does not lie! I feel His love and His warmth...I fell His affection for me and His people...I want to bask in the glow of His love and presence forever! My treasure is waiting for my in the Kingdom of Elohim and I will NOT give up my crown!
I am looking for those who share my vision, my passion and my trust in Father and His word. I will join with them and together we will continue to support and encourage one another and to urge one another onward and upward, always keeping the goal in sight. I will join with the little flock and the remnant and we WILL follow where the Shepherd leads and He WILL watch over us and protect us...how about you?
Philippians 3:12-14
12 Not that I have already received, or already been perfected, but I press on, to lay hold of that for which Messiah יהושע has also laid hold of me. 13 Brothers, I do not count myself to have laid hold of it yet, but only this: forgetting what is behind and reaching out for what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of Elohim in Messiah יהושע.

Abba's Touch

How can you possibly explain, to someone who has not had the experience, the feeling of Abba's presence? How do you put into words, what it is to feel the closeness, the comfort and the shalom that He brings? There is a whole set of emotions that are experienced when He is near...it is many separate feelings that are experienced all at once, at the same time. It is overwhelming in intensity and floods your senses. It is indescribable joy, love and complete fulfillment to be near Him!
We only experience that incredible feeling and the intensity of His presence that closely, at certain times, though He is ALWAYS there. It is when we are walking in harmony with His word and His will, and in complete submission and humility, that we are the closest to Him. We feel His love and affection for us. What will it be like to be in His presence forever? To experience that feeling forever? Do you ever think about that? That is part of storing up our treasure and keeping our heart where we want to truly be! It will more magnificent, more incredible and more wonderful than we can ever imagine!
Ready to go home?

Looking Forward

There are days when I cannot wait for this world to be gone. I get so fed up and so weighed down with all of the evil and injustice and I am frustrated that there is absolutely nothing that I can do about it. The depravity and sickness of the crimes that people commit against other innocent people is beyond comprehension. There is no respect for life and no sympathy for those who are victimized and robbed of their innocence, or their lives. Sometimes I just want to shrug it all off and go hide somewhere away from everything, and wait for Yeshua to come and get me. At times it seems an impossible task to shine in this world, but we MUST keep moving forward and NEVER stop…we MUST keep doing Abba's will and NEVER look back.
There are even darker days ahead I fear. I cannot even bear to look at the news anymore, but I have to try and stay informed on what is happening. The world will continue to degenerate into a place where lawlessness and evil are the dominant behavior, and just as in the days of Noah men's minds will be on evil continually. Yes, we think it is bad now, but it will get much, much worse. Before Abba brought the flood, He looked upon the beautiful world that He created and He was grieved, He was sad and it was heavy on His heart that He had placed man on this world. It was man that corrupted and ruined everything that YHVH had so carefully created and shaped and placed here with great care and thought.
How bad do things have to be…how bad do things have to get, for the Elohim who placed everything here, to be sad…to be grieved…to be filled with sadness that the most incredible thing that He carefully thought out and placed on the earth, His greatest creation, was the very thing that was destroying everything else that He put into place…man. It is going to happen again! Yeshua gave us an indicator as to the timing of the end of this age.
Matthew 24:36-39
36 “But concerning that day and the hour no one knows, not even the messengers of the heavens, but My Father only. 37 “And as the days of Noaḥ, so also shall the coming of the Son of Aḏam be. 38 “For as they were in the days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noaḥ entered into the ark, 39 and they did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall the coming of the Son of Aḏam be.
Abba can only tolerate so much of man's wickedness and evil! All of creation is suffering and groaning under the corruption and evil of men…man is destroying himself and the world that was created so carefully and put into place for him. Abba gave man dominion…He put man in charge. It was man's responsibility and his job to care and tend for the creation that YHVH put into place. How has man repaid Father for his generosity and for the beautiful place He gave him to live? Abba will only hold back for so long and when He reaches the limit of His tolerance and patience again, He will unleash His wrath! It WILL happen whether you are ready or not, or whether you believe it or not.
Abba is depending on us to be an example and to show others, and make others want to have the life that we have! We have to shine as lights and continue to bring light to a world sinking into darkness…we have the example of Yeshua who overcame the world while living in the same flesh as we do. Do NOT grow tired of doing good! Do NOT grow tired of living a set-apart life! Overcome evil with good! Our Elohim is ALL POWERFUL! NOTHING can stand in His way! Abba is counting on us! Do NOT lose heart!
Galatians 6:7-9
7 Do not be led astray: Elohim is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap. 8 Because he who sows to his own flesh shall reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Spirit shall reap everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not grow weary.
