Seeking

Whenever someone is faced with a crisis, the first thing they do is cry out to Father. Can we ignore Him and live our lives as we please and still expect Him to respond to us in time of need? The time to turn to Him is now...not after we are already in serious trouble. Where are you in your relationship with YHVH? Only you and Abba know the answer to that question...

Those who build faith and trust, and have a meaninful relationship with Father, will find Him available to them when they are in need. He will hear them and He will respond. Those who are not really His, will seek Him in vain...

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 2:26-29
26 “As the thief is ashamed when he is found out, so is the house of Yisra’ĕl ashamed – they and their sovereigns and their heads, and their priests and their prophets, 27 saying to a tree, ‘You are my father,’ and to a stone, ‘You gave birth to me.’ For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face. But in the time of their calamity they say, ‘Arise and save us.’ 28 “But where are your mighty ones that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, see if they save you in the time of your calamity. Because your mighty ones have become as many as your cities, O Yehu
ah. 29 “Why do you complain to Me? You all have transgressed against Me,” declares יהוה.

Are You Ready?

How far are you willing to go to serve Abba? Think about it carefully...what if He asked you to leave your job, your home, your town? Better think about it! What if He asked you to reach people on a personal level and go out onto the streets...what is your answer? What if He sends you into the worst place you can imagine and a place that makes you extremely uncomfortable...huh? What then?

Where were Sha'ul and the rest of the taught ones sent to and what was their fate? Are you ready? No comforts, no big screen TV, no cushy furniture...hmmm what then? If we are not ready to do what we are called upon to do...are we worthy? Do we measure up? Think about it...

Luke 18:22-25
22 And hearing this,
יהושע said to him, “Yet one you lack: Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven. And come, follow Me.” 23 But when he heard this, he became intensely sad, for he was extremely rich. 24 And when יהושע saw that he became intensely sad, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into the reign of Elohim! 25 “For it is easier for a camel to enter through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into the reign of Elohim.”

Grace, Shalom and Blessings...

Conflict

There is a conflict and a confrontation shaping up and beginning right before us. Lines are being drawn and sides are being chosen. There are going to be casualties and there are going to be losses. People are going to be tried and tested, and the best will surface to lead and inspire. Is it Libya? Iran? Afghanistan? No, none of those...

The people of YHVH are being shaped and forged. Those who are His know His voice, they heed the warning and hear the call. They prepare...they wait and they watch not growing weary and not faling asleep. They have vision, they have discernment and they look for the promise. They do not faint and they do not stumble...He goes before them and they follow. Whom do you choose? Time to decide...time to prepare and make ready...

Joshua 24:15
15 “And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve
יהוה, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve יהוה.”

Time Out

We all need quiet time and time away from our normal routines. No matter what you do, you can benefit from a break. Our relationship with YHVH can suffer, when there are constant demands on our time and our attention. It is important every day to find some quiet time, but there also is no substitute for getting away for a few days.

Yeshua understood this and He took time away for refreshing and drawing close to Father. He was committed to His work, but He also knew that there were times when He had to get away and regroup and draw strength from Abba. It is important that we find and make the time to recharge.

John 6:15
15 Then
יהושע, knowing that they were about to come and seize Him, that they might make Him sovereign, withdrew again to the mountain, alone by Himself.

Do You Hear?

Father speaks to us in many different ways...we are the ones who need to learn how to listen. At times we are just like little children, we excitedly run around all over the place and we hear the voice of Father, but we are just too excited to slow down and listen completely. Every new thing attracts our eye and we want to handle it and examine it...just like children who are reaching for something, even as they are being warned by a parent...

There are dangers even for those who are mature in the faith. There are always pitfalls and traps waiting to snare those who are unwary, or unwise. Abba gives us direction in different ways, we just need to be aware and pay attention! Hear oh Yisrael! If you want to really grow close to Abba, learn to listen...

Proverbs 2:1-5
1 My son, if you accept my words, And treasure up my commands with you, 2 So that you make your ear attend to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, Lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as hidden treasures, 5 Then you would understand the fear of
יהוה, And find the knowledge of Elohim.

Strength

Why is it that sometimes we feel so alone and empty? We are not the only ones to suffer from that feeling and condition, scripture provides examples of others who have suffered from those same things. Does Father back off at times to see how we will react and what we will do? I believe so...that is part of testing and trying. We can feel so strong one minute and so weak the next. We have to realize where our strength comes from and stay close to that source.

The ONLY thing that can separate us from Abba is ourselves. The people of YHVH will do great things in the future. It will require boldness, courage and a complete faith and trust in Father. We are NEVER alone...He is always there and always will be there for those who love Him and seek to do His will. We must have faith, trust and confidence and put away ALL doubt and unbelief. When those times come...who will stand?

Daniel 11:32-33
32 “And by flatteries he shall profane those who do wrong against the covenant, but the people who know their Elohim shall be strong, and shall act. 33 “And those of the people who have insight shall give understanding to many. And they shall stumble by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering, for days.

Have An Answer

It becomes very obvious, very quickly, when someone does not study or know the scriptures. When you have the opportunity to speak to someone about the truth, it takes more than just pointing them to a video, or an article. The greatest witness is your personal example. You must be able to speak sincerely about your conviction, faith and belief. The fruits should be evident and visible in your own life. If not…how do you expect to have any credibility?

Are you ready and prepared right now, to be able to explain to someone why you believe what you do? It is important! The way we give an answer is also important. If you do your part, Father will do the rest. Yeshua said the fields are white to harvest, but you cannot just go in and reap a field in a haphazard way...

1 Peter 3:15
15 But set apart
יהוה Elohim in your hearts, and always be ready to give an answer to everyone asking you a reason concerning the expectation that is in you, with meekness and fear,

Moving On

If we say that we have come out of the religious systems of this world, then why do we constantly keep talking about them? Why do we have to keep bringing up idolatry, paganism and names? Why do we have to keep pointing fingers at different denominations and making accusations? What does that gain?

We have been shown and we realize the things that we were doing were wrong, now we have to move on and put those things behind us. We cannot change anyone...it is not up to us!

There is much to learn and understand, and the longer we dwell and spend time in the past, the longer it will take to be where Father truly desires for us to be and to see the things that He wants us to see! Those who know and understand, those who are walking in the Ruach have been given such an incredible gift and blessing! We need to use what we have been given wisely. When we learn how to appreciate and value the truth that has been revealed to us and learn how to share it in love, then Abba can use us to help others.

Hebrews 5:12-14
12 For indeed, although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first elements of the Words of Elohim. And you have become such as need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone partaking of milk is inexperienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food is for the mature whose senses have been trained by practice to discern both good and evil.
