Need

Have you ever sat down and taken a serious look at where you are in life? Somehow we convince ourselves that we need certain things in life. We NEED our job, we NEED our home, we NEED our new car…need, need, need. The need, desire and pursuit of material things distracts and prevents us from reaching our full potential and from the reason we are here on this earth!

What is important and what is the highest priority in your life? How can we say that we belong to YHVH, unless we are constantly pursuing a relationship with Him? How can we say we believe in YHVH, unless we trust Him to provide what we need? How much do you really trust Him? When YHVH told Avraham to depart and go to a land that YHVH would show him, Avraham just went! He did not argue, he did not make excuses he just went!

Do we have that faith? We better start! If we do what YHVH wants us to do, He will take care of the rest…it is a promise! YHVH does not go back on His word! How can we concentrate on being His people and making ourselves acceptable to Him, when we are distracted and our attention is elsewhere? We must be prepared to do whatever YHVH requires of us. We must ADMIT when we are in error, we must accept we are NOT in control of our lives, we must realize that EVERYTHING we have and all that we ever will be is from and by ABBA!

Are you prepared to step out in faith…are you ready to follow where HE leads and guides you…no matter the cost? That is something that each person, who claims to be a believer in YHVH, MUST ask themselves! YHVH is going to use His people to do some things on this earth before Yeshua returns. Those people are being tested and tried and prepared right now…will you be among them?

Matthew 6:28-34
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Note well the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin, 29 and I say to you that even Shelomoh in all his esteem was not dressed like one of these. 30 “But if Elohim so clothes the grass of the field, which exists today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more you, O you of little belief? 31 “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 “For all these the gentiles seek for. And your heavenly Father knows that you need all these. 33 “But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness, and all these matters shall be added to you. 34 “Do not, then, worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall have its own worries. Each day has enough evil of itself.

Authority

How could Yeshua make the following statement, unless He were echad (one) with Abba...

John 10:17-18
17 “Because of this the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, in order to receive it again. 18 “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to receive it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Power and authority, people still do not understand it...

Chag Pesach

Chag Pesach Sameach!! Blessing and Shalom!!

1 Corinthians 5:6-8

6 Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the entire lump? 7 Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Messiah our Passover was offered for us. 8 So then let us observe the festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Reconciliation

An important part of Pesach, is restoration and reconciliation. Reconciling and restoring a people to their Elohim, to their land and to their inheritance. It is the plan of YHVH being put into action. Pesach is where it all starts...

Acts 3:18-21
18 “But this is how Elohim has filled what He had announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets, that His Messiah was to suffer. 19 “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that ...times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master, 20 and that He sends
יהושע Messiah, pre-appointed for you, 21 whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restoration of all matters, of which Elohim spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old.

Yeshua IS Pesach...

Comittment

Of those people who are truly called, some progress, some stay the same, some go back to their old lives and some end up worse off than when they started. How many people have been given the opportunity to know and understand the truth of YHVH's Word and have not grown, or gone on to be changed by the experience? It happens...

We live in a society who wants and values instant gratification. Setting ourselves to follow Torah and every Word of YHVH is a long term comittment. Abba is going to test us, to see if we are TRULY determined to take what we are given and d...o something with it. Many people give up when they do not receive instant rewards, others do not ever try to grow beyond maintaining the level THEY think is pleasing to YHVH.

The rewards ONLY come to those who learn to have a relationship with YHVH and LET HIM work in and through them! In order to grow and develop into someone that He can use, you have to completely humble and submit yourself to Him and get YOU out of the way. If we do not grow, we will be weeded out. If we do not bear fruit, we will be pruned out. Many seem unable to strike a balance between living Torah and following Yeshua, yet He is The One who showed us how to do just that...and also the consequences if we do not...

Matthew 13:27-30
27“And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? From where then does it have the darnel (a tare)?’ 28 “And he said to them, ‘A man, an enemy did this.’ And the servants said to him, ‘Do you wish then, that we go and gather them up?’ 29 “But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the darnel you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 ‘Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I shall say to the reapers, “First gather the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary.”

Shalom...

Judgment Begins...

There are no free passes, no get out of jail free cards, no automatic approvals and no rubber stamps to allow one to get into the Kingdom of YHVH. Those who profess to be believers in YHVH and followers of Yeshua are held to a higher standard and there are requirements.

We cannot save ourselves by our own works, but the people of YHVH can never sit back, relax and think that they have some special access, or back door into the Kingdom of YHVH. The TRUE believers are to be living by every Word of YHVH. All will face judgment and give an accounting for how they lived their lives.

We are to grow, to be transformed and to make the will of Abba our will. We are being judged right now! We need to realize the seriousness of what we have committed ourselves to and what is required of us. The people of YHVH are the first to be judged…

1 Peter 4:17-19
17 Because it is time for judgment to begin from the House of Elohim. And if firstly from us, what is the end of those who do not obey the Good News of Elohim? 18 And if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where shall the wicked and the sinner appear? 19 So then, those who suffer according to the desire of Elohim should commit their lives to a trustworthy Creator, in doing good.

Shalom…

Learning Shabbat

The way we look at and approach Shabbat, reflects the growth and maturity in our spiritual lives. We do not fully understand what Shabbat represents at first, we do not know what to do with a full 24-hour span of time without work and other activities...we just know it is something that we need to do!

At first, it is just a physical obedience and we receive physical rewards...we obey and we rest. As we grow, learn and mature in spiritual understanding and knowledge the Shabbat takes on a different level of meaning and importance to us. The Shabbat is something to be cherished, but not worshipped. It is for our benefit and to refresh us, not to enslave us and control us. It is a time for us to be in fellowship and worship with Our Abba. The spiritual rewards are unending!

I know people who never grew past the point of observing Shabbat purely in the physical sense and sadly...they ended up eventually rejecting it altogether considering it a burden and an intrusion into their lives. How sad and tragic! Shabbat is such an incredible blessing when you come into harmony with Father and begin to see the spiritual side of things! Shabbat takes on more and more importance all the time.

1 John 5:1-3
1 Everyone who believes that
יהושע is the Messiah has been born of Elohim, and everyone who loves the One bringing forth also loves the one having been born of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commands. 3 For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy,

Blessings of shalom, refreshing and restoration, to those who observe the set-apart day of YHVH!
