Yeshua's Reflection
22/06/12 17:31
We have been given an incredible example, to show us our Father in a way that we can relate to as physical beings. YHVH is so much bigger, incredible and awesome than we picture Him and imagine Him to be. We try to relate Him to our physical world, but fail to realize that He exists outside the boundaries that we live under. He sent His Son to us, in a physical form, to give us a way to relate to Him in a physical sense. YHVH says that He is THE ONLY Moshia (Savior).
Isaiah 43:11-13
11 “I, I am יהוה, and besides Me there is no savior. 12 “I, I have declared and saved, and made known, and there was no foreign mighty one among you. And you are My witnesses,” declares יהוה, “that I am Ěl. 13 “Even from the day I am He, and no one delivers out of My hand. I work, and who turns it back?”
Yeshua reflected YHVH to us. Through Him, we get a glimpse and a picture of the nature of Elohim. We struggle and wrestle with trying to understand the relationship that exists between Yeshua and YHVH, because we think ONLY in physical terms. Why do we limit YHVH? Why do we set boundaries in which He has to operate? On one hand people believe and have faith that YHVH is capable of doing incredible and amazing things, things far beyond our understanding but on the other hand they fail to accept and see the connection that exists between YHVH and Yeshua. Yeshua tells us in plain terms what that relationship is. Is YHVH limited by our understanding of relationships?
John 14:7
7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father too. From now on you know Him, and have seen.”
How do we reconcile and make sense of what Yeshua said here? How could He make such a statement? By knowing Yeshua they knew the Father…by seeing Yeshua, they saw the Father. Think about it! This is amazing what He says here! Where else in all of scripture does anyone say, or make a claim like this? In one statement He tells us who He is. Yeshua was accused of blasphemy for making such claims and just like the Pharisees of His day, there are Pharisees in our day who still consider it blasphemy and idolatry for Yeshua to have said those things and for people to believe what He said. Yeshua NEVER claimed to be a separate Elohim apart from YHVH!
Acts 5:30-32
30 “The Elohim of our fathers raised up יהושע whom you laid hands on, hanging Him on a timber. 31 “Him, a Prince and a Savior, Elohim has exalted to His right hand, to give repentance to Yisra’ĕl and forgiveness of sins. 32 “And we are His witnesses to these matters, and so also is the Set-apart Spirit whom Elohim has given to those who obey Him.”
Here is the key to the whole issue…it is the Ruach HaKodesh that reveals these things to YHVH's people. Yeshua does NOT act separately and apart from YHVH…Yeshua is also Moshia. It IS critical to understand the nature and relationship that exists between YHVH and Yeshua. Those who do not…will fall victim to a lie.
Always, seek the truth...
